Karina Kai is a New York based Latinx documentarian, cinematographer, and photojournalist. She has earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in film & video and continued to pursue graduate studies in journalism. Through the filming of the award winning short, Beauty Scar: Karina came to discover an interest in telling people’s stories.
